Job summary

Electrolux Consumer Products, Inc in Kinston, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to maintain and repair manufacturing equipment, maximize reliability, uptime and efficiency. You will support plastics and fabrication operations, follow safety and quality standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

The role requires diagnosing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and automation systems, supporting PLCs, and promoting continuous improvement while adhering to OSHA, ISO 9001

Qualifications

• Two years of technical education or training in electrical/electrical maintenance.
• Experience with industrial electrical systems and 3-phase 480-V power.
• Knowledge of PLCs and electrical panels, able to troubleshoot and repair.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and maintain electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems including motors, drives, sensors, and PLCs.
• Support Siemens and Allen-Bradley automation platforms and resolve controls issues affecting production.
• Ensure safety procedures (LOTO, PPE) and OSHA/ISO compliance.
• Maintain equipment quality, support root-cause analysis, and verify performance before return to production.
• Reduce downtime and maintenance costs through efficient repairs and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and train colleagues on equipment status.
