Job summary

Syensqo is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Spartanburg, SC to maintain, repair, and upgrade diverse mechanical equipment. You will work with a team of technicians and engineers, report to the Maintenance Superintendent, and follow CMMS-driven work orders for preventive maintenance and repairs.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent education.
• 3–5 years experience in the mechanical field.
• Trouble shooting skills including failure investigation.
• Knowledge of risk assessment and reduction processes.
• Knowledge in the use of maintenance tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and upgrade plant equipment.
• Manage maintenance work orders in CMMS and scheduling.
• Read blueprints and maintenance manuals; prepare sketches.
• Ensure safe, clean turn-backs and proper documentation.
