Cooper Standard Spartanburg, SC plant is seeking a Maintenance Technician to safely repair and troubleshoot equipment, including installation, preventive and routine maintenance, and decommissioning as needed.

The role emphasizes safety, 6S housekeeping, and adherence to industry standards. Applicants should have a HS diploma, 2+ years in industrial maintenance, and relevant mechanical/electrical experience. OCW and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two year college degree or technical training preferred.
• Two+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Electrical and hydraulic experience required.
• Experience with extrusion/injection molding equipment preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CMMS software.

Responsibilities

• Repair and troubleshoot maintenance equipment safely.
• Provide hands-on tasks and direct contractors when needed.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and related work.
• Assist in start-up/shutdown of facilities as needed.
• Maintain parts, inventories, records, and manuals.
• Keep maintenance crib organized and tools in good condition.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, TS16949 and related standards.
