Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing) in Graniteville, SC for a permanent, on-site position. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, with welding, PLC programming, industrial electrical systems, hydraulic maintenance, and OSHA knowledge.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, install and repair wiring and equipment, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing maintenance role.
• Proven experience with welding, PLC programming, industrial electrical systems, and hydraulic maintenance.
• Solid understanding of OSHA guidelines and safety regulations.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication to explain complex issues to non-technical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to keep machines and building systems running smoothly.
• Inspect, diagnose, and test machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose problems using blueprints and manuals.
• Install or repair wiring, electrical components, piping, and machinery.
• Conduct regular inspections and address malfunctions promptly.
• Adhere to OSHA and safety policies in all tasks.
• Use hand and power tools, meters, and material handling equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement and adopt new technologies.
