Job summary

ASSA ABLOY is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Grand Canyon Service Center in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on keeping plant equipment in good condition to minimize downtime and ensure a safe workplace.

You will perform repairs, maintenance, and basic electrical work, with involvement in safety projects and after-hours support as needed. This is a hands-on position in a manufacturing environment at our facility in Phoenix.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience with CNC punches, lasers, forming presses, hydraulics, pneumatics is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot PLC programming with RSLogix control.
• Ability to read schematics and drawings (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic).
• Experience using a work order system.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on machinery and building structures to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform planned maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Install new equipment and ensure it is production-ready and safe.
• Perform basic electrical work and assist safety projects.
• Provide after-hours support to maintenance and engineering teams.
• Maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
