Job summary

Destaco in Madison, IN is looking for a Maintenance Technician to install, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and facilities, performing preventive maintenance and supporting production to meet customer expectations.

You will follow safety procedures, document PMs, operate material handling equipment, and assist in root cause analysis using Dover fast problem-solving methods. Shift flexibility and physical stamina required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 2–6 years of verifiable experience in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical or megatronics disciplines.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic and mechanical schematics and apply them to repair equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic and relay logic controls.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, repair, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document all activities.
• Respond quickly to maintenance requests from leadership and operations teams.
• Operate motorized equipment (scissor lifts, JLGs, forklifts).
• Lubricate and oil machinery as needed.
• Repair bearings, relays, switches and gearboxes.
