Job summary

Armacell is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure smooth operation of machinery and equipment, preventing downtime. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair equipment, often as part of a team and sometimes independently.

The role includes a rotating 2/2/3 night schedule (7pm–7am) with opportunities for training and growth within Armacell Academy, plus health benefits and 401(k) plans. Must be fluent in English and capable of interpreting technical documents.

Qualifications

• Certification or degree in a maintenance field preferred.
• At least 1 year of job-related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to apply math concepts (fractions, percentages, ratios) to maintenance situations.
• Must use reasoning skills to solve problems and interpret instructions.
• Must read, write and speak English fluently.
• Ability to work with urgency to resolve issues affecting plant production without increasing errors.
• Must interpret blueprints, schematics, safety procedures, operating and maintenance instructions, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance checks and document per department procedures.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues.
• Demonstrate ability to operate equipment needed to troubleshoot maintenance issues.
• Perform equipment and facility repairs as needed.
• Perform basic metalworking.
• Perform industrial electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Manager to repair electronics equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulics/pneumatics and perform repairs.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
