Add your talent to ours and make a difference around the world!***POSITION SUMMARY:** Responsible for operational condition and performance of the facility and equipment used in the production of technical foam rubber. Technicians are expected to work as part of a team and / or without assistance while complying with all OSHA and Facility safety requirements (lock out/tag out, confined space, welding safety, etc).**JOB SPECIFIC TASKS:*** Read and interpret more detailed mechanical, electrical, and PLC ladder logic blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.* Use common hand and power tools. Working knowledge of specialized equipment, and electronic devices used in basic trouble shooting and repair.* Perform routine preventive maintenance without supervision to include inspection of mechanical and electrical equipment, make minor adjustments related to the inspection and perform other advanced maintenance tasks.* Should show confidence in diagnosing more complicated equipment failures of mechanical and electrical devices. Troubleshoot, repair, and install equipment, facilities and parts as required.* Demonstrate the ability to perform diagnostics and related repair work of critical facility equipment to include but not limited to extruders, ovens, mixers, granulators and their subsystems and components.* Demonstrate the ability to do instrument calibrations with minimum assistance. Basic ability to work with PLC systems, and programmable software.**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:**High school diploma or GED required 2-3 years of related job experience is preferred.
