Job summary

SC Works Trident in South Carolina is seeking a Maintenance Worker for machinery and facility systems. You will install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, piping, and electrical components in a commercial or industrial setting.

Responsibilities include ensuring safe operation, following NEC/OSHA guidelines, reading work orders in CMMS, testing and repairing components, and supporting automation tasks.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Industrial Systems Technology or Mechatronics, or two years related experience.
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts; risk of electrical shock and vibration; noise is usually moderate.

Responsibilities

• Provides maintenance and/or repairs on manufacturing process equipment.
• Inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
• Dismantles defective machines and installs new or repaired parts.
• Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
• Installs and repairs electrical apparatus and related equipment.
• Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
• Completes work orders and creates work orders in CMMS.

Education
