Job summary

Mission Linen Supply in California is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot industrial equipment such as washers, dryers, boilers and conveyors. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, safe operation, and documentation of processes.

The position requires strong technical knowledge of industrial systems, the ability to read schematics, and a willingness to learn boiler, electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance engineering experience with machinery, electricity, electronics, plumbing, welding and boiler applications.
• Experience with mechanical troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and reading repair manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Routine preventive maintenance on plant machines to keep them running smoothly.
• Morning start-up and evening shutdown of equipment including boilers, air compressors, pumps and valves.
• Maintain lint traps, shaker screens, oil levels, grease fittings, and water levels; perform general repairs.
• Follow manufacturer maintenance schedules and document processes; identify major repairs needed.
