Job summary

Mission Linen Supply is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot industrial equipment such as washers, dryers, boilers, steam tunnels, and conveyors in our in-plant facility in California. The role includes preventive maintenance, welding, boiler chemistry adjustments, and safety duties.

Strong knowledge of industrial systems is required, with training provided for steam boiler, electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance engineering experience required, with machinery, electricity, electronics, plumbing, welding, and boiler knowledge.
• High school diploma required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on plant machines to keep operations running.
• Start up and shut down equipment daily, including the boiler, air compressor, pumps, and valves.
• Maintain lint traps, shaker screens, oil levels, and other components.
• Document maintenance per schedule and report major repairs.
• Follow manufacturer maintenance schedules.
