Job summary

Pilgrim’s maintenance technician position is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining production and facility equipment according to safety and predictive maintenance practices to support the facility’s goals. Duties include installing, repairing and maintaining all equipment and machinery within the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Experience in maintenance systems or technical schooling is desirable.
• Ability to read simple instructions and write basic notes or correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and facility equipment.
• Provide emergency or unscheduled repairs during production.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
• Diagnose problems and replace or repair parts; test and adjust.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and plant facilities.
• Use hand and power tools and electrical meters.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain clean, orderly work areas.
