Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school preferred.
• 1–2 years industrial maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents.
• Basic math and measurement skills (standard and metric).
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain and test mechanical equipment, machinery and components.
• Identify parts or machines needing new or replacement parts.
• Utilize shop mathematics to complete assignments.
• Interpret drawings of equipment to adjust, maintain or repair machinery.
• Respond to production area requests when mechanical issues are identified.
• Communicate with production management to diagnose problems and prevent future issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Complete tasks with accuracy and efficiency, managing time and resources.
