Job summary

MSI CORPORATION in Vandergrift, PA is seeking a maintenance technician to collaborate with the production department and production manager to ensure that all equipment runs safely and efficiently. Applicants must pass pre-employment physical, drug screening and MVR.

Responsibilities include repairing and performing preventive maintenance on heavy machinery, lubricating and adjusting equipment, following schedules, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical and/or electrical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair and perform preventive maintenance for heavy industrial machinery and vehicles.
• Oil, grease, fill fluids and make adjustments on machinery to keep them running efficiently.
• Follow periodic maintenance instructions, procedures and schedules
• Complete maintenance logs and signoff sheets
• Perform equipment repairs.
• Assist with equipment installation.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by functioning and communicating effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
