Job summary

MSA Safety in North Carolina is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to keep our production equipment running safely and efficiently. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery, diagnose faults, and support equipment upgrades.

The role requires strong electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic knowledge, plus the ability to read blueprints and schematics. You will collaborate with production teams and uphold rigorous safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and fluid systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Strong troubleshooting and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and facility systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures.
• Read blueprints and technical manuals to guide troubleshooting.
• Install, modify, and upgrade machinery and equipment.
• Maintain maintenance records in CMMS and ensure safety compliance.
• Work with production teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Assist in inventory management of spare parts.
