Job summary

Dairy Maid Dairy, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform proactive and reactive maintenance on production, processing, and packaging equipment. You will read schematics, assist with new equipment installations, and train operators to reduce downtime.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and 2–4 years of related experience, with ammonia refrigeration experience preferred. A trade/technical background is highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade/technical school preferred (electrical, PLC/HMI, mechanical, welding/fabrication, refrigeration, plumbing).
• 2–4 years maintenance, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, computer-controlled equipment, PLC, HVAC experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on production, processing, and packaging equipment and related utilities.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections of equipment.
• Read and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals, and work orders.
• Support installation of new equipment.
• Assist operators with training or troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Document repairs and complete paperwork clearly and accurately.
• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with health and safety regulations.
