Job summary

Synthomer plc is seeking a skilled maintenance technician in Mogadore, Ohio to perform daily operation and preventive maintenance on process equipment and facility systems. The role includes emergency repairs under moderate supervision, and installation/repair of mechanical components.

You will read prints and manuals to complete tasks, ensure safety practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. SAP-PM data entry and continuous improvement are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Journeyman Card or 2-year certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret prints, diagrams, schematics, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs, install/repair sleeves, bearings, gears, shafts, and similar components.
• Read and follow piping specifications; determine correct materials.
• Safely operate forklifts, aerial lifts, and other equipment; follow EHS procedures.
• Troubleshoot and repair steam systems and pump installations.
• Support preventative/predictive maintenance programs; document data in SAP-PM.
