Job summary

WL Plastics LLC in Statesboro, GA is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to install and maintain industrial and facility equipment. You will work with mechanical and electromechanical systems, including PLCs, AC & DC drives, and basic welding, while performing troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

Reporting to the Industrial Maintenance Supervisor, you will read P&ID and mechanical drawings, support equipment start-ups after service, and participate in safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a continuous process environment.
• Ability to read and interpret P&ID and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with PLCs, AC/DC drives, and basic welding.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on plant equipment safely and per policies.
• Respond to breakdowns and unplanned outages.
• Read diagrams and assist with system instrumentation.
• Keep tools organized and assist with startup after maintenance.
• Participate in root-cause analysis and safety initiatives.
