Job summary

The W.C. Bradley Co. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform maintenance and repair tasks on processing, conveying, packaging, and mobile equipment in the facility.

This role focuses on keeping equipment operating efficiently, adhering to safety protocols, and minimizing downtime. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical and control issues, welding when required, spare parts coordination, and contributing to the maintenance budget.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in maintaining computer-controlled manufacturing or processing equipment.
• Experience with wood pellet production or similar heavy industrial equipment is a plus.
• Confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Professional and courteous conduct at all times.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness.
• Ability to work cooperatively with co-workers.
• Regular and predictable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on all plant equipment, including pelleting, packaging, and mobile equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, control, and mechanical systems with limited supervision.
• Conduct welding tasks as required to maintain operational equipment.
• Assist with spare parts management, including ordering and organizing parts for equipment maintenance.
• Document all maintenance tasks accurately, including preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA standards, ensuring a safe and clean work environment.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure continuous operation of equipment and to minimize downtime.
• Participate in the development of the annual maintenance budget and adhere to budget guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• May provide guidance to other maintenance personnel as needed.
