You will ensure equipment runs efficiently, follow safety protocols, and help minimize downtime through thorough documentation and timely servicing. The role requires hands-on experience with industrial systems, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience maintaining plant equipment.
• Experience with heavy industrial equipment is a plus.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding proprietary information.
• Professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Regular and predictable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment, including pelleting, packaging, and mobile equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, control, and mechanical systems with limited supervision.
• Conduct welding tasks as required to maintain equipment.
• Assist with spare parts management, including ordering and organizing parts.
• Document all maintenance tasks accurately, including preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Follow all safety policies and OSHA standards.
• Collaborate with team members to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
• Participate in developing the annual maintenance budget and follow budget guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• May provide guidance to other maintenance personnel.
