As an advanced Industrial Maintenance Technician II, the incumbent applies extensive and diversified knowledge in performing repairs, preventive, and corrective maintenance on production machinery, plant blow mold equipment, and facility. The role also involves following our company's Good Manufacturing Practices.

We are seeking an experienced Bekum Machine Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and optimizing Bekum blow molding machines. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Bekum machines and experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

In addition to Industrial Maintenance Technician I responsibilities, the role includes, but is not limited to:

• Install, maintain, and repair Bekum blow molding machines.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and implement corrective actions.
• Optimize machine performance to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Provide training and support to production staff on machine operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to ensure seamless machine operation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and applicable laws and regulations.
• Install, adjust, and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer, and other related equipment.
• Perform mold, neck tooling changes, pin, and other equipment changes.
• Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses.
• Inspect, rebuild, and replace valves and pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all related equipment.
• Maintain machines in optimal processing condition.
• Weld, fabricate, and repair various machines.
• Troubleshoot, locate root problems, and repair blow mold, baggers, and support equipment.
• May operate blow mold or injection machines.
• Communicate with other departments regularly.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience working with Bekum blow molding machines.
• Advanced mathematical skills.
• Advanced computer experience.
• Five or more years' experience as a machine operator.

Education:

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

May require current OSHA forklift certification.

Training:

Completion of Altium Industrial Maintenance Technician II training.

Physical Demands:

Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made for disabilities.

Work Environment:

Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts in a loud environment. Temperature fluctuations and PPE requirements apply.
