DIS-TRAN Steel is looking to hire a Maintenance Technician I to join the team in Eunice on Night Shift and Pineville on Day Shift. The Maintenance Technician I must be capable of performing industrial maintenance. This individual should be knowledgeable of maintenance related duties.

The Maintenance Technician I is required to have a background in working with hydraulic and electrical equipment. Experience with software, CNC, and PLC is considered a plus for this position.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to interpret blueprints required.
• Ability to read a tape measure required.
• 2+ years of prior industrial maintenance experience required.
• Hydraulic and electrical background experience required.
• Experience with CNC/PLC is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Monitors and maintains production equipment with or without direct supervision.
• Troubleshoots and repairs minor equipment malfunctions on noncritical machines.
• Disassembles machine prior to maintenance work.
• Reassembles machines after repair or maintenance work.
• Starts machines and observes operation to detect problems.
• Inspects or tests damaged machine parts and notes repair needs.
• Lubricates parts according to procedures.
• Installs or changes machine parts per manufacturer specs on noncritical machines.
• Reads work orders and specifications to identify repair needs.
• Performs scheduled preventative maintenance.
