Job summary

Lever, Inc. in Richmond, VA seeks a skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for contract-to-hire work supporting industrial manufacturing.

You will troubleshoot, perform PM/CM, repair equipment, and support reliability of plant systems with hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and welding duties. The ideal candidate has strong hydraulic and electrical experience and is comfortable with MIG/STICK welding and PLC systems, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Industrial maintenance experience required.
• Hands-on hydraulic experience with valves and pressure troubleshooting.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience including PLCs, motors, fuses and testing.
• Welding experience (MIG and STICK).
• Ability to work in a team and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and CM on industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment.
• Diagnose electrical issues using megohmmeters and testing gear.
• Troubleshoot motors, fuses, PLCs, light curtains, and area scanners.
• Repair hydraulic valves and systems, check pressures.
• Work with pneumatic systems and air cylinders.
• Perform welding for repairs and fabrication.
• Assist with installation and setup of new equipment.
• Operate safely and document maintenance activities.
