Job summary

Meridian Lightweight Technologies Inc. in Michigan is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle day-to-day maintenance tasks under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager.

The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance across heating, ventilation, cooling, and water treatment systems to keep plant operations running smoothly. Ideal candidates will have HVAC experience, strong communication with manufacturing teams, and a willingness to pursue additional education if needed.

Qualifications

• Communicate, clearly, with manufacturing department and maintenance team on equipment status and repairs required.
• Complete work orders as assigned by Team-leader/Function-leader.
• Perform weekly, monthly, yearly PMs per the CMS.
• Fill out work orders for work completed.
• HVAC Experience
• High School or Equivalent
• Willingness to return to school if needed

• Performs preventative and corrective maintenance on all the following systems
• Gas fired heater house and boilers
• Roof Exhaust Fans
• Roof Top A/C units and window units
• Cooling Towers
• Air Compressors
• Water Softeners Systems
• Waste Water Treatment Systems
• Fire Pumps and Storage Tanks
