Job summary

CMC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support heavy industrial operations in Salisbury, NC. You will inspect, repair, and maintain equipment across steel and fabrication facilities, ensuring safe and reliable performance.

You will work rotating shifts, with overtime as needed, and must read technical manuals. High school diploma or GED is required, with welding and hydraulics knowledge a plus.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret technical manuals and service documents.
• Experience servicing and repairing industrial equipment in a heavy industrial environment preferred.
• Welding skills are preferred and a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect equipment for defects.
• Participate in safety programs and uphold safety culture.
• Perform repairs safely using hand and power tools at various heights.
• Maintain shop machinery and equipment including cranes and metalworking tools.
• Troubleshoot issues with technicians; document maintenance activities.
