You will troubleshoot, diagnose, replace parts, and perform dimensional inspections while adhering to safety and quality standards.

You will collaborate with teammates, document actions, and help minimize downtime by planning maintenance during non-production periods. Strong mechanical aptitude and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ years maintaining industrial equipment.
• Expertise: Proficient in mechanical troubleshooting.
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent; 4–6 years related experience; vocational maintenance training preferred.
• Industrial Maintenance: Experience with pneumatics, conveyors, and general mechanical engineering.
• Skills: Excellent troubleshooting, mechanical aptitude, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge: Understanding of ISO standards, quality management, material processing, and warehousing.
• Communication: Strong math, organizational and communication skills; meet workflow and shipping schedules.
• Reliability: Demonstrated reliable work history; able to work independently.
• Physical Examination: Ability to pass a physical for vision, hearing, mobility.
• Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with focus on precision and quality.

Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance: Complete tasks on motors, conveyors, and production machinery per diagrams; troubleshoot safely.
• Problem Diagnosis: Identify sources of mechanical problems by observation and testing.
• Part Replacement: Dismantle devices to replace defective parts using hoists and hand tools.
• Dimensional Inspection: Inspect parts using calipers and micrometers.
• Adjustment: Adjust parts with hand tools and levels.
• Downtime Management: Schedule maintenance during non-production periods to minimize downtime.
• Fabrication: Fabricate repair parts using machine shop equipment.
• Inventory Management: Maintain inventories with Kanban; verify receipts.
• Resource Conservation: Use resources efficiently to achieve results.
• Information Sharing: Provide maintenance information when requested.
• Reporting: Prepare maintenance reports by analyzing trends.
• Knowledge Maintenance: Stay updated via workshops and publications.
• Documentation: Communicate actions and needs for continuity.
• Team Contribution: Cooperate and adapt to team needs.
• Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks.
