Job summary

SPX Technologies, a leader in HVAC and Detection and Measurement solutions, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance role to support its Electric Heat business. The position focuses on installation assistance, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery, electrical equipment, and facility assets to sustain a safe, efficient manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical diploma, trade certification, or equivalent experience in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, motors, conveyors, pumps, and industrial controls.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and automation systems and read technical documents and schematics.
• Experience with electric scissor lifts and willingness to work at heights up to 30 feet.
• Forklift/Power Industrial Truck experience is a plus.
• Strong mechanical, organizational, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Self-directed with a strong sense of urgency, initiative, and commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility maintenance tasks as required to keep production lines running.
• Assist with machine installation, movement, and alignment.
• Repair and maintain facility assets and equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
