Job summary

SPX Technologies, a leader in HVAC and industrial solutions, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Electric Heat business. You will install, maintain, and repair machinery, electrical and plumbing systems, and support safety and efficiency across facilities.

We value hands-on technical training, a GED or high school diploma, and 1–3 months of related experience. The role offers steady work in a manufacturing environment with strong safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Completed courses in Maintenance Electricity, Hydraulics, Pipefitting, Industrial Maintenance Mechanics, Electric Arc Welding.
• One to three months related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems.
• Repair and maintain HVAC system, plumbing, physical structures, electrical wiring, and fixtures.
• Inspect, clean, lubricate, and adjust machinery per maintenance schedule.
• Dismantle machines to access defective parts and repair and reassemble.
• Measure, cut, replace, and install conduit, pipe, or tubing for various lines.
• Install or replace electrical or plumbing equipment and fixtures; assist with safety measures.
• Assist in providing operating instructions, lockout/tagout procedures, and load calculations.

Pipefitting (2 terms)

Industrial Maintenance Mechanics (1 term)
