Job summary

SPX Technologies, within its Electric Heat business, seeks an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery and facility assets in a manufacturing environment. You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance and assist with safe operations.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical aptitude, familiarity with PLCs and industrial controls, and comfort working at heights.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Technical diploma or related certification preferred.
2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

Perform facility maintenance, including painting lines, floors, and columns.
Operate floor scrubber and maintain clean shop floor areas.
Move office equipment, materials, and machinery as needed.
Assist with machine installation and movement.
Repair and maintain facility assets and equipment.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
Assist with troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment.
Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
