Job summary
Primex Plastics Corporation is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on automated industrial equipment, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and heaters. The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving and the ability to read, follow instructions, and work with limited supervision.
Candidates with experience in reading schematics, using measuring tools, and performing basic fabrication will excel.
Qualifications
- Must be able to perform preventive maintenance procedures.
- Must have experience with electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing and mechanical systems.
- On-the-job training may be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance procedures.
- Keep production lines and related equipment in good operating condition.
- Perform lift truck maintenance and repairs.
- Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance in normal operations.
- Promptly complete job activities.
- Must wear PPE in production area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
