Job summary

Advanced Technology Services in Memphis, TN seeks a maintenance technician to perform mid to expert level repairs and preventative care in a factory environment. You will diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control issues, dismantle and repair components, test performance, and source parts as needed.

The role emphasizes safety, 5S/housekeeping, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, with opportunities for career development through the ATS Technician Progression Program.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Associate degree with technical focus and 3 years of related experience; or 5 years in general industry or ATS Technician Progression Program.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems; can analyze problems and perform repairs.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
• May be required to travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance.
• Observe devices in operation to locate root causes of problems.
• Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts; repair or replace as needed.
• Test devices and observe performance after repairs.
• Identify and source parts, supplies and repair items.
• Set up and operate multiple machining operations and welding as needed.
