Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) is seeking a maintenance technician to perform mid to expert level repair and preventive maintenance in a factory setting. You will diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control-system issues, disassemble and replace defective parts, and restore equipment to optimal operation.

Travel may be required, and we expect adherence to 5S, safety, and CMMS record-keeping. Ideal candidates have an associate degree with a technical focus or equivalent experience,

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Associates degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience or completion of ATS Technician Progression Program.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems. Can analyze problems and perform repairs.
• Able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
• May be required to travel.

Responsibilities

• Performs mid to expert level break-fix & preventative maintenance.
• Identifies and sources parts, supplies and repair items.
• Independently performs maintenance as per industry standards.
• Setup and operate multiple machining operations; may perform welding.
• Complies with 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Drives and participates in CI activities; updates CMMS history.
• Troubleshoots and analyzes control systems to resolve software/hardware issues.
• Provides assistance to lower level technicians and supports training.
