Job summary

Advanced Technology Services, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Memphis, TN. This role performs mid to expert level break-fix and preventive maintenance, diagnosing root causes and repairing complex equipment.

You will work with machining equipment and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has a technical background, understands electrical and mechanical systems, and can operate CMMS tools while maintaining 5S standards.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Associates degree with a technical focus or equivalent experience.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs mid to expert level break-fix and preventive maintenance, locating root causes and repairing devices with parts replacement and testing.
• Identifies and sources parts, supplies and repair items as necessary.
• Independently performs maintenance per industry standards.
• Sets up and operates machining operations (lathe, drill press, grinder) and may perform welding tasks.
• Follows 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Drives and participates in CI activities—processes, results and cost savings.
• Updates CMMS records and reviews maintenance history.
• Troubleshoots and analyzes control systems to resolve software/hardware issues.
• Uses predictive maintenance technologies to collect equipment performance data.
• Provides guidance to lower level technicians and participates in training.
• Completes on-the-job and technical self-study for career development.
• Follows all safety policies and guidelines.
