Job summary

The Scoular Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Jerome, Idaho to install, troubleshoot, and maintain production and facility equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operations in alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, emergency breakdown support, and adherence to lockout/tagout procedures. The role may involve outdoor work, climbing, and exposure to grain dust, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills are required.
• Experience in industrial maintenance and preventative maintenance (mechanical and electrical) is preferred.
• Able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening.
• Willing to work overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency breakdown support.
• Adhere to OSHA lockout/tagout and safety regulations.
• Assist with facility housekeeping and maintain a safe work area.
