Job summary
Novolex is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician in Jerome, Idaho. The role focuses on mechanical and electrical preventive/predictive maintenance on industrial equipment, reporting to the Maintenance Manager/Plant Engineer.
The position requires technical skills, strong safety practices, and reliable attendance. The successful candidate will perform maintenance on production and facility systems, diagnose issues, document results in CMMS, and support equipment upgrades.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, machinery drawings, and pneumatic/hydraulic schematics.
- Knowledge of lubrication requirements for preventive maintenance.
- Familiarity with electrical and electronic components and diagnostic procedures.
- Proficiency with mechanical hand tools and electrical testing instruments.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and inspection maintenance on production and facility systems.
- Maintain, overhaul, and repair equipment and components.
- Diagnose issues and perform repairs; document results in CMMS.
- Assist with equipment retrofits and upgrades.
- Operate forklifts and maintain a clean maintenance shop.
