Job summary

Amcor in Hanover, MD is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain industrial manufacturing equipment, monitor the status of production machines, and work with the shift supervisor to keep operations safe, efficient and compliant with GMP and SQF standards.

You will log maintenance actions, troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems, and contribute to continual improvement while following established procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience as Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with troubleshooting pneumatic systems.
• Working knowledge of Lock Out/Tag Out requirements.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain industrial manufacturing equipment on the floor.
• Understand the current status of all production machines.
• Collaborate with shift supervisor to keep machines safe, efficient and compliant.
• Record maintenance activities in the maintenance log or designated place.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Adhere to GMP and SQF compliance requirements.
