Job summary

Westminster Cracker Company in Rutland, VT is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep ovens, mixers, and packaging equipment running. You may join as Level I or II, performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical/electrical issues, and following food-safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical maintenance training.
• Reading procedures, checklists, and equipment drawings.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends when production requires.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and record results in the maintenance system.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical failures.
• Respond to production calls and estimate restoration time.
• Apply lockout/tagout and follow food safety requirements for a food plant.
• Keep shop, tools, and critical spares organized.
• Level II: train newer technicians and participate in on-call rotation.
