Job summary

Meijer is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for our Indiana facilities. The role involves supporting planning, scheduling and repair of water treatment, refrigeration, boiler, and HVAC systems across a multi-craft environment.

With 3–5 years in manufacturing maintenance, you will troubleshoot ammonia/HVAC systems and perform routine and emergency maintenance. A High School diploma and relevant certifications are required, with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Mechatronics Certifications Levels 1-4 completed.
• 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Ammonia/HVAC and refrigerant systems preferred.
• Knowledge of general mechanical systems and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Supports planning, scheduling and maintenance activities.
• Maintains water treatment, refrigeration, boiler functions and equipment including ammonia, refrigeration, boilers, chilled water, compressed air, HVAC.
• Keeps regulatory and compliance records for all systems.
• Performs routine and emergency maintenance of utilities systems in a multi-craft environment including PLC, instrumentation, mechanical, and general equipment repair.
• Responsible for Preventative Maintenance and timely work order completion.
• Performs other duties as required by Maintenance Manager.
• Upholds 200% safety accountability for self and others.
