Job summary

MSI Express, INC is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Grand Prairie, TX to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment per electrical diagrams and manuals. You will use CMMS to document work orders and support safety and GMP standards integral to our production environment.

The role involves hands-on maintenance of motors, conveyors, PLCs, and electrical systems across 5VDC–480 VAC, with opportunities to train others and improve equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Two years of experience in an industrial setting preferred.
• High School Diploma required.
• Experience with CMMS and mobile data entry is a plus.
• Able to lift 50 pounds regularly and 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance on drives, belts, and lubrication.
• Troubleshoots and repairs motors, PLCs, sensors, conveyors, and related equipment.
• Documents work using CMMS on a mobile device.
• Welds and fabricates parts using MIG, TIG, and Arc.
• Trains junior technicians and operators on procedures.
• Ensures food safety and quality responsibilities are met.
• Complies with safety and GMP policies.
