MSI Express, INC in Portage, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining equipment in accordance with electrical diagrams and manuals, while following safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.

You will document work orders in a CMMS, perform preventive maintenance, and support plant operations by servicing motors, conveyors, PLCs, and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 2+ years in an industrial setting preferred.
• A technical degree is preferred; electrical knowledge advantageous.
• Experience with electrical controls and PLCs is desirable.
• Ability to read safety rules, manuals, and diagrams.
• Welding and fabrication experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on drives, belts, fluids, filters, and lubrication.
• Document work performed in a CMMS using a mobile device.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain motors, conveyors, and electrical equipment including PLCs.
• Work with electrical systems up to 480 VAC.
• Read blueprints and repair manuals; fabricate parts as needed.
• Weld using MIG, TIG, or Arc; assist with machine upgrades.
• Maintain safety and food safety standards.
• Train junior technicians and operators.
• Complete changeovers and corrective maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
