Job summary

Biewer Lumber is seeking an energized Industrial Maintenance professional to service and repair production machinery across the facility. The role focuses on troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to minimize downtime and keep equipment running in a fast-paced plant environment.

Responsibilities include installing and calibrating equipment, maintaining parts inventory, training production staff on preventive maintenance, and documenting data trends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• General lumber knowledge such as board sizing and terminology.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to safely operate forklift, scissor lift, and manual lift.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair machines and equipment throughout the facility for production efficiency.
• Install, maintain, repair and modify production equipment per codes from blueprints and manuals.
• Calibrate and align equipment; troubleshoot motors, gear boxes, drives, belts and related components.
• Maintain inventory of equipment parts and supplies.
• Update scheduling systems and request work orders for maintenance repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Follow safety rules and report unsafe conditions.
