Job summary

Lignetics is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient plant operations.

Strong mechanical and electrical skills, plus the ability to work independently and with others, help minimize downtime and support continuous improvement. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, outages, and basic facility repairs, with on-call shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; vocational/technical training preferred.
• 1–5 years of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting in industry.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and basic hydraulic systems preferred.
• Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment malfunctions and repair.
• Repair and maintain industrial production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic and basic hydraulic systems as needed.
• Assist with planning scheduled maintenance outages.
• Perform minor facility repairs and general building maintenance.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and maintenance requests promptly.
• Communicate repair needs and maintenance activities to the team.
• Follow safety procedures and maintenance protocols.
