Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. in Claremore, OK is seeking a Maintenance I candidate to support basic maintenance tasks under supervision. This training-focused role requires basic mechanical knowledge and keen safety awareness to ensure reliable equipment operation.

Day shifts include 7:30am–3:30pm and other shifts with night differential; responsibilities include assisting with PMs, repairing worn parts, and recording labor in the IFS system while upholding all safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to read safety/maintenance instructions.
• Ability to read English and follow verbal/written instructions.
• Ability to read tape measures and other measurement devices.
• Willing to work overtime when required for business needs.
• Assist with PMs and general maintenance repairs under supervision.
• Basic experience with industrial lifting equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with PMs and general maintenance repairs and projects under supervision.
• Repair worn parts and fabricate fixtures with welding and cutting.
• Record labor and materials in the IFS system and report hazards.
• Follow safety guidelines including LOTO and PPE requirements.
