Sonoco Products Company in Jefferson, TX is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrical Maintenance Technician for the second shift. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, robotic/automation, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including PLC programs.

This role emphasizes safety, proactive maintenance, CMMS documentation, and collaboration with operations to minimize downtime. A high school diploma is required; an associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; technical training preferred.
• Experience maintaining mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
• Ability to read schematics and PLC logic.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, robotic/automation, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems.
• Install/maintain AC and DC drives/motors.
• Troubleshoot PLC programs and modify/write as needed.
• Weld and fabricate as required.
• Document maintenance in CMMS and support root-cause analysis to prevent failures.
