Job summary

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years in heavy manufacturing, strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, and proficiency with tools and technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with electrical systems.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and interpreting technical drawings.
• Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and schematics.
• Effective communication skills in English and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance on equipment following safety procedures including LOTO.
• Inspect guards and safety equipment before returning equipment to operators.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and quality issues; escalate when needed.
• Carry out breakdown repairs, preventive maintenance, and changeover tasks.
• Fabricate repair parts using shop tools and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
