Job summary

Ellwood Specialty Metals is seeking an Industrial Maintenance technician in New Castle, PA. Under general supervision, you will maintain and perform preventative maintenance on production machinery, cranes, and shop equipment to keep operations running safely and efficiently.

The role requires 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and PLCs, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, PLCs, overhead cranes and welding.
• Able to read machining blueprints and diagrams.
• Weekend work, travel and on-call as needed.
• Strong communication and math/measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems to root cause.
• Maintain records of repairs and inspections to OSHA standards.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for maintenance help.
• Train the trainer for forklift and LOTO.
• Order and organize maintenance supplies.
• Ensure safety rules are followed.
• Assist operations to identify issues and resolve them promptly.
