Job summary

You will work from blueprints or specifications, using welding and fabrication as needed, and diagnose issues on electrical and PLC systems. Qualifications include 2-year maintenance certification or equivalent industrial experience, strong English reading/writing skills, and ability to lift 50 lb and climb

Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial environment preferred or completion of a 2-year maintenance certification.
• Knowledge of tools and machinery.
• Understanding of production processes and quality control.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and shutdown maintenance and repairs per company standards.
• Document maintenance activities in maintenance system.
• Support continuous improvement programs.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment and stay current on guidelines.
• Work from blueprints, sketches, or specifications.
• Welding and fabrication as required.
• Diagnose problems with existing equipment and machinery.
• Perform diagnostics on electrical components and PLC systems.
