Job summary
Bayou Processing & Storage is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician in east Houston to maintain and repair electrical power sources and related equipment. You will support a 250,000-square-foot facility near the Port of Houston, with opportunities to contribute to safety and efficiency.
The role requires strong mechanical skills, experience with industrial maintenance, and the ability to read repair manuals.
Qualifications
- Experience with maintenance/repair of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems on industrial equipment.
- Strong mechanical skills and ability to use power and hand tools.
- Strong math aptitude.
- Ability to follow service repair manuals.
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Handles repairs for equipment and facilities.
- Prevents maintenance on all equipment.
- Maintains tool inventory and proper storage.
- Maintains inventory of replacement parts and equipment.
- Inspects tools and equipment to ensure they work.
- Updates maintenance and repair logs for equipment.
- Keeps facility safe, neat, and orderly.
