About Our Facility

Eternity Systems operates an industrial service center specializing in the washing and processing of reusable plastic containers. Our Rancho Cucamonga facility operates 24 hours a day, six days per week.

The Maintenance Department supports the operation across all shifts, with technicians assigned to each shift along with Maintenance leadership and administrative support. Preventive maintenance is scheduled with a focus on completing thorough maintenance on individual machines while minimizing operational disruption.

Position Summary

Eternity Systems is seeking an experienced, hands‑on Industrial Maintenance Technician to support our 24‑hour industrial wash operation in Rancho Cucamonga.

We are looking for a self‑starter who is strong in electrical troubleshooting and comfortable working across mechanical systems, welding/fabrication, and forklift maintenance. This position requires someone who can identify problems, troubleshoot to the root cause, make repairs safely, and communicate clearly with Operations regarding equipment status and repair timelines.

The right candidate will not wait for equipment to fail. We need someone who takes ownership of preventive maintenance, identifies potential issues early, and works collaboratively with Maintenance and Operations to keep equipment running safely and reliably.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial electrical and mechanical equipment
• Diagnose electrical issues involving motors, sensors, switches, relays, contactors, breakers, control circuits, and related components
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals
• Perform electrical testing using appropriate diagnostic tools, including multimeters
• Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatic systems, and other production equipment
• Perform MIG welding, fabrication, cutting, and equipment repairs as needed
• Troubleshoot and perform maintenance and repairs on industrial forklifts and material‑handling equipment
• Complete preventive and predictive maintenance according to established schedules
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production needs
• Identify recurring equipment failures and recommend corrective or preventive solutions
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and all electrical, maintenance, and facility safety requirements
• Document completed work, repairs, parts used, and outstanding issues
• Maintain clear communication with Operations, including providing updates and estimated completion times for repairs
• Assist with training and sharing technical knowledge with other maintenance technicians
• Maintain tools, parts, equipment, and maintenance work areas in an organized condition

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred
• Strong electrical troubleshooting experience required
• Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment and electrical controls
• Welding and fabrication experience strongly preferred
• Forklift maintenance and repair experience strongly preferred
• Experience with conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, pneumatics, and related industrial equipment
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
• Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work closely with Operations
• Dependable attendance and flexibility to support operational needs
• Willingness to train and support other technicians
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements associated with industrial maintenance work

The successful candidate should be comfortable walking the facility, identifying potential equipment issues before they result in downtime, and taking ownership of repairs from diagnosis through completion.

Electrical troubleshooting capability will be a key consideration during the interview and selection process.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in wet, hot, cold, and noisy environments
