Job summary

Qualifications

• Must meet all general qualifications of employment.
• Must be able and willing to comply with all safety rules.
• Must be able to safely perform physical requirements of the job.
• Must possess the willingness and ability to acquire necessary knowledge and skills to advance to higher classifications.
• Must have successfully completed all required testing and training programs as promulgated by the company.
• 1-3 years job related experience recommended.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent in industrial maintenance or related technical field preferred.
• Must have demonstrated proficiency in the ability to perform duties associated with the lower classification(s) within the line of progression.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to routine maintenance activities to check, inspect, repair, maintain, and install station equipment and systems.
• Assist higher classifications and supply them with tools and materials; help collect and return tools after jobs.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean and safe; cooperate to maintain a positive environment.
• Learn to operate basic tools and equipment and perform dismantling/assembly tasks as needed.
• Assist in basic electrical and instrument repair and related maintenance activities.
